Scrub Training Academy offers Education and Training
It is a locally developed initiative designed to address the growing need among Namibian healthcare professionals for timely and accessible training in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course. Currently, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) are offered locally but are often limited in availability. This leads to long waiting periods or necessitates travel outside the country - both of which pose financial and logistical challenges for many healthcare workers.
Our academy aims to solve these issues by facilitating the availability of ATLS courses within Namibia. By either availing local trainers or bringing qualified international trainers to the country, Scrub Training Academy will significantly expand access to training opportunities. This localized approach not only reduces costs but also makes it easier for healthcare professionals to schedule training at their convenience.
Ultimately, Scrub Training Academy is about empowering Namibia's healthcare workforce with timely, affordable, and high-quality trauma care training - right here at home.
Our Courses.
Internationally Accredited Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Course
ATLS is a standardized training program developed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) designed to teach doctors and healthcare providers a systematic, concise approach to the early management of trauma patients.
The course will be delivered by highly experienced international professors, accredited by the American College of Surgeons and upon completion, candidates will receive a certificate endorsed by the American College of Surgeons as well as the University of Namibia. This course is internationally accepted, as per ATLS standards.

How does the Cancellation Policy work?
• Fees refund fully if cancelation 30 days before the course date
• 50% refund if the cancelation up to 20 days from the course
• No refund if cancellation less than 10 days from the Course
